I FOUND A 1965 GRADUATION RING

Hello;

My name is Kenny. They call me BIGKUEL. Why, well that’s kind of a long story.

I found a class ring in La Jolla in 1969.

On Friday 13th 1969, I came home from Viet Nam, just glad to be alive. I was born here, and all the memories of my growing up here sort of help me keep my head on straight. While other things all around me were tearing at my senses. When I got home I all I wanted to do was enjoy, and visit all the fine places and memories that I had taken for granted while I was so called, growing up. I was at La Jolla Cove, not far from the Children’s Tide Pool, shortly after I got back and I was staring down at some rocks, just listening to the sound of the waves. And I happened to notice a shinning object every now and then when the water washed over it. When I finally got down to where the object was I saw that it was a ring. I took it home, cleaned it up and have been trying to locate the owner for over 40 years. It’s a Morse High School, class of 1965 with the initials DW.

I don’t know how many times I have contacted the school, looked through the names in albums, I even tried the San Diego City School Board up in North Park. I would be more that happy to share any thing you need about this ring. I would just like to see the look on the original owners face when I return it to him.
