The English program contains some of the most innovative and dynamic teachers in the district.  We have small school programs where students focus their learning activities arounda technical emphasis; currently, auto mechanics and culinary arts are the most popular.  We offer Advanced Placement classes as well as special classes in African American Literature and Contemporary Voices. The Morse Cose, our award winning school newspaper, creates a realistic and stimulating environment for budding journalists.
